Community Support Professional

This job allows you to work with persons served at the office, in client's home or in the community, and it's an opportunity to have a positive impact by developing and implementing treatment plans. Also, you will develop an impressive knowledge of community resources for financial, vocational, nutritional, medical, spiritual, transportation, and housing assistance. In addition, we offer a new electronic medical record, smartphone, and Chromebook. We also offer competitive compensation and benefits including mileage reimbursement.  Ultimately, this position will allow you to become a part of a cohesive team with similar goals in serving our communities. Qualified Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution in a human services field such as psychology, counseling, nursing, education, criminal justice, child development, sociology, social work, recreational therapy, human development and family studies, gerontology, behavioral science, rehabilitation counseling.                                                

OR

  1. An individual with any four-year combination of higher education and experience in behavioral health or substance use field. 

  2. An individual with any four-year degree and two years of experience in behavioral health or substance use field. 

  3. An individual with four years’ experience in behavioral health or substance use field. 

  4. An individual with a master’s degree in a human services field.

Clinical Therapist

This position is a great opportunity for a therapist to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis, and support the physical, emotional and behavioral well-being of our clients. Therapists in this position work directly with clients, face-to-face or virtual, to actively listen to concerns and create and provide the most meaningful interventions. Therapists in this position manage their own caseload and have opportunities to work closely with colleagues to gain clinical input.  If you want to pick up a few extra hours in a flexible schedule providing therapy services give us a call. Opportunities for licensure supervision are also available.

 

Qualified Applicants must possess a master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field, licensed or eligible to be licensed by the State of Missouri. 

 

Crisis Therapist

Bootheel Counseling Services is looking for an individual interested in the opportunity to take on the role of a Crisis Therapist. This position offers an intriguing opportunity to acquire strong assessment and crisis intervention skills, along with working closely with other crisis providers. Qualified applicants must possess at least a master’s degree from an accredited educational institution in the field of psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field. Licensure preferred; provisional or eligibility for licensure is required.  Primary call responsibilities.

Integrated Treatment of Co-Occurring Disorders Specialist

This job allows you to work with persons served at the office, in client's home or in the community, and it's an opportunity to have a positive impact by individual and group co-occurring counseling as well as education. This job also includes providing screening and assessment of substance use.  Also, you will develop an impressive knowledge of community resources for financial, vocational, nutritional, medical, spiritual, transportation, and housing assistance. In addition, we offer a new electronic medical record for easement of documentation input and billing. Ultimately, this position will allow you to become a part of a cohesive team with similar goals in serving our communities. Qualified Applicants must have at least a bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution in the field of psychology, counseling, social work or a related field.  Must also possess certification of Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP): CADC, CRADC, CRRAADC, CCJP, CCDP, CCDP-D, RADC, or RADC-P.
